Derwent Valley and North Hobart Tour

Take a tour with us through the Northern suburbs of Hobart and beyond into the Derwent Valley, home of Tasmania’s hop-growing industry. We’ll head deep into the valley to visit one of the oldest craft breweries in the state on a farm in Hayes, then back South to New Norfolk, where the only Tasmanian rum distillery is plying their trade in a decommissioned mental hospital. Upon returning to Hobart, a tour of a modern gin and whisky distillery will be followed by a selection of top-quality lagers brewed on equipment that looks like a Cold War relic.

Your tour includes:

• Tastings of at least 16 beers, ciders and spirits
• Lunch at one of Hobart's finest pubs
• A breakdown of the process of making gin and whisky
• A tour of one of the original Australian farmhouse breweries

The Brew Hop Tours are all inclusive, so all lunch, tastings and transport are included as part of your tour. We can also assist with hotel transfers, please get in touch with us ahead of time so we can organise. This tour requires a minimum of two guests to proceed, we will advise you should this not be the case. The itinerary may be subject to change.
